What source pair best with the supremacy?
The Supremacy has an impedance of 8Ω and sensitivity of 100dB/mW, making it easy to drive from most sources. It performs best with a dedicated DAC/AMP or a high-quality DAP. We recommend pairing via the 4.4mm balanced output for the widest soundstage. Smartphones can drive it, but a dedicated source reveals its full capability.
Is the wood shell durable? Will it scratch or fade over time?
The stabilized wood shell is treated with resin throughout — not just on the surface. This makes it significantly more durable than untreated wood and resistant to moisture and temperature changes. Normal everyday use will not damage the shell. We recommend storing in the included leather case when not in use to preserve the finish.
Do all units look the same? Can I choose the specific pattern?
No two Grand Oriveti Supremacy units are identical — the stabilized wood grain means every pair has a unique colour and pattern. This is a feature, not a variation. Because of this, we are unable to offer specific pattern selection. The unit you receive will be unique to you.
What ear tips are included and which should I use first?
The Supremacy includes AZLA Xelastec Tips (SS/ S/SM) and ORIVETI Silicone tips (S/M/L) & AZLA SednaEarfit Foamax Tips (S/MS/M). We recommend starting with the Medium silicone tips — they suit most ear shapes and give the most neutral baseline sound. If you find the bass lacking, try foam tips for a better seal. If you experience discomfort, try a smaller or larger size before switching tip type.
Can I use Supremacy with a smartphone directly?
Yes — the Supremacy is sensitive enough to be driven directly from a smartphone using the included 3.5mm cable. However, a dedicated source (portable DAC/AMP dongle or DAP) will unlock significantly more detail, dynamics, and soundstage. For the best experience we recommend at least a quality USB-C DAC dongle.
