All-BA Precision
The OV800 uses eight balanced armature drivers per side, divided by function so each part of the frequency range can be handled with speed and definition.

Built for Control
Balanced armature drivers are valued for speed, separation, and compact precision. In the OV800, two bass BA drivers provide low-frequency foundation, four mid BA drivers shape the body of the music, and two high BA drivers bring clarity and extension.

One Coherent Voice
A precisely designed crossover network coordinates the eight-driver system so the OV800 does not feel like separate components competing for attention. The goal is a natural, balanced, and wide sound from a highly technical driver platform.

Handmade Resin, Integrated Control
The OV800 shell is handmade from resin, with a polished surface and a deep red visual identity. The shape is designed for a secure in-ear fit while giving enough internal space for the 8BA acoustic structure and tuning switch.

The emerald-tinted resin shell is cast and hand-polished using CIEM techniques — revealing the internal driver array through the housing.

Is an all-BA earphone good for bass?
The OV800 uses two dedicated bass balanced armature drivers, so the low end is tuned for speed, control, and definition rather than excessive weight. It is a clean and precise bass presentation that supports the music without overwhelming the midrange.
What source should I use with OV800?
With 15 Ohm impedance and 110 +/- 3dB sensitivity, OV800 is friendly to portable sources. A quality dongle DAC, DAP, or DAC/AMP is recommended for the best noise control, separation, and dynamic range. We recommend the Oriveti Twin Revive as the natural partner for the OV800.
How durabble is the resin shell and the stabilized wood faceplate?
The stabilized wood faceplate is resin-impregnated throughout — not surface-treated — making it resistant to moisture, humidity, and temperature variation over time. The emerald resin shell is robust under everyday use and maintains its finish with standard care. As with any handcrafted resin IEM, hard drops onto concrete or stone should be avoided. The semi-open vent port on the faceplate is a deliberate acoustic feature and does not compromise the shell's structural integrity or its passive isolation performance.
