Your Data, Your Trust

Privacy Policy

1. Overview & Who We Are

ORIVETI (“ORIVETI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website oriveti.com (the “Site”), where we sell in-ear monitors, upgrade cables, and related audio accessories. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit the Site, create an account, contact us, or place an order.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Data controller: ORIVETI, [Sound Innovation Co., Limited. HongKong]. For privacy questions, contact support@oriveti.com or our contact page.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically as you use the Site, and information from third-party services we use to operate the Site.

2.1 Information you provide

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — used for cart functionality, preferences (e.g. currency), analytics, and marketing. See Section 6.
  • Shopping behaviour — items added to cart, products viewed, and search terms used on the Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, including communicating order status and shipment tracking.
  • Create and manage your account, including order history and saved addresses.
  • Respond to enquiries submitted via our contact form, email, or live chat.
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notices, password resets).
  • With your consent, send marketing emails about new products, restocks, and promotions — you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Analyse and improve the Site, our products, and the shopping experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations, such as tax, accounting, and consumer-protection requirements.

4. Orders & Payment Processing

When you place an order, our store is powered by WooCommerce, which processes and stores your order details (items purchased, billing/shipping address, order status, and order history) on our hosting infrastructure.

Payments are processed securely by Airwallex, our third-party payment processor. When you enter your card details at checkout, they are submitted directly to Airwallex over an encrypted connection — ORIVETI does not see or store your full card number, expiry date, or CVC. Airwallex may retain payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable card-network rules, and may use it to detect fraud and comply with financial regulations.

We retain a record that an order was paid, the payment method type (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB), and the last four digits of the card for receipts, refunds, and accounting — never the full card number.

5. Order Fulfillment & Shipping

To deliver your order, we share the information necessary for shipping — name, shipping address, phone number, and order contents — with our shipping and logistics partners (for example, YunExpress, Yanwen, or other carriers selected at checkout). These carriers use this information to deliver your package, generate customs documentation for international orders, and provide tracking updates.

Shipping carriers act as independent data controllers for the information they need to complete delivery and are responsible for handling it under their own privacy policies.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work and to understand how it is used.

7. Live Chat & AI Assistant

Our Site includes a live chat widget powered by Tidio and an “Ask AI” assistant. When you use either of these tools:

  • Messages you send, along with your name, email address, and basic device/browser information, may be collected and stored by Tidio to operate the chat and to allow our support team to respond to you.
  • The “Ask AI” assistant may process your questions (and relevant product information) to generate automated responses. Conversations may be logged to improve response quality.
  • These tools may set their own cookies to maintain your conversation session across page views.

Do not share sensitive information (such as full card numbers or passwords) in chat. For details on how Tidio handles data, please refer to Tidio’s own privacy policy.

8. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site and fulfil orders — including our web hosting provider, Airwallex (payments), shipping carriers, Tidio (chat/AI), and email/newsletter providers.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, or legal counsel, where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including:

  • Order and transaction records — retained for as long as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws.
  • Account information — retained while your account remains active, and for a reasonable period after, in case you wish to reactivate it.
  • Marketing contact details — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Chat and support conversations — retained for a limited period to help resolve follow-up questions and improve support quality.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls, and secure third-party payment processing — to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

ORIVETI and the third-party services we use (hosting, payment processing, shipping, chat/AI) may store and process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms — to protect information transferred internationally.

12. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing communications.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent — use the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date below indicates when this policy was last revised. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
