Sound Blueprint
OD200 is built around one dynamic driver, controlled airflow, and a final tuning stage at the nozzle.
Light, rigid, responsive.
Beryllium is valued in audio diaphragms for its high stiffness-to-weight character. In OD200, the beryllium-coated 9.8mm dynamic driver supports the product story of clean motion, cohesive tone, and quick response.
LOW MASS
A lighter diaphragm can start and stop more easily, helping transient notes feel more immediate.
HIGH RIGIDITY
A stiffer surface is less prone to unwanted flexing, supporting cleaner driver behavior.
SINGLE DRIVER COHERENCE
Bass, mids, and treble are produced by one diaphragm, helping the presentation feel connected.
DAD
Dedicated Airflow Distribution
Balances internal and external pressure.
Provides airflow for freer diaphragm movement.
Controlled low end, natural body, open top.
The tuning story is described in listening terms: low-end control from airflow management, connected midrange from a single driver, and optional openness from the nozzle system.
Airflow-Guided Low End
The chamber pathway is presented as pressure management for driver stability.
Connected Midrange
Vocal and instrument tone comes from the same diaphragm as the bass and treble.
Nozzle-Tuned Air
Two nozzles, two voices — black for accuracy, silver for openness.
We kept asking: why does a dynamic driver lose control at the wrong moment? The answer was always air. So we gave it somewhere to go. That's DAD — not a feature, just a problem we finally solved properly.
ORIVETI OD200 DESIGN NOTES
Exchangeable Tuning System
Two Nozzles
Swap the nozzle to shift the OD200's voice. No tools needed — two distinct sound signatures in seconds.
BLACK NOZZLE · BALANCED
Natural
A fuller, smoother profile for everyday use. This voice keeps the dynamic-driver weight while easing the upper range for long sessions.
SILVER NOZZLE · CLARITY
AIR
A more open and articulate profile. This voice brings cymbals, strings, ambience, and micro-detail closer to the front.
ENGINEERING
Engineered. Every detail.
Oriveti put years of dynamic driver research into the OD200 — the result is a patent-pending acoustic architecture found in no other IEM at its price.
01
CNC Aluminum Alloy Body
The shell is milled from aluminum alloy and finished in British Racing Green, giving OD200 the compact weight and precision feel expected from a modern dynamic-driver IEM.
02
DAD Airflow Architecture
Dedicated Airflow Distribution uses acoustic tubes between the front and rear chambers to manage pressure around the 9.8mm driver for a cleaner, more controlled response.
03
Modular Plug Cable
The handmade 8-wire braided cable includes 3.5mm stereo, 2.5mm balanced, and 4.4mm balanced plugs, so OD200 can move cleanly between portable and balanced sources.
Complete Package
OD200 includes the earphones, modular cable, leather case, ear tip selection, cleaning tool, and both nozzle sets for immediate tuning flexibility.
OD200

ORIVETI OD200
“The OD200 is a thoughtful labour of love that competes with rivals in the kilo-buck range for a mere fraction of their respective prices. The bar has been set high, injecting much-needed creativity into an industry that rarely reinvents the wheel.”

BEFORE YOU BUY
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Everything you need to know before your decision.
Who is the DAD system and why does it matter?
DAD stands for Dedicated Airflow Distribution — Oriveti's acoustic design that creates a dedicated tube between the front and rear acoustic chambers inside the OD200 shell. This controlled airflow path optimises the dynamic driver's back-pressure, eliminating driver flex and ear-canal pressure entirely while improving low-end extension and dynamic range. It is one of the primary engineering reasons the OD200 can be worn for hours in complete comfort.
Why beryllium coating over a standard PET or carbon diaphragm?
Beryllium has an exceptionally high stiffness-to-mass ratio — it's stiffer than most metals while being lighter than aluminium. When applied as a coating to a dynamic driver diaphragm, it increases the first breakup frequency (reducing distortion in the audible range), improves transient speed, and extends detail retrieval especially in the high frequencies. The result is a dynamic driver that combines the warmth and bass depth of traditional DD designs with a clarity and articulation closer to what a balanced armature driver provides.
Is the OD200 easy to drive from a smartphone?
Yes. At 16Ω and 108 dB/mW sensitivity, the OD200 is highly efficient and performs well directly from smartphones, tablets, dongles, and entry-level DAPs. That said, it scales noticeably with a better source — particularly via the included 4.4mm balanced plug, which opens up the soundstage and tightens the low end. A dedicated amplifier is not required, but will be rewarded.
Which plug should I use?
Use 3.5mm stereo for common portable outputs, 2.5mm balanced for older balanced players, and 4.4mm balanced for modern DAPs, DAC/amps, and desktop equipment.
Can I use a different cable with the OD200?
Yes. OD200 uses a 0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable interface. The stock cable is already flexible because it includes 3.5mm, 2.5mm, and 4.4mm plugs, but standard compatible aftermarket 2-pin cables can be used.
